As of 5th August 2002 we have raised the grand total of £9,559.01. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated money, time or services.

This is how we have raised this amount:

In November 2001 a very kind lady from Stokecannon sent us a cheque for £100 after seeing a newspaper article about us and Haircraft Chagford did a fancy dress up as fairy tale characters and raised £190.

In December Jag Communications of Okehampton had a Christmas prize draw and raised £166.

In March 2002 a fellow end-to-end cyclist sent us £40, a friends mum and neighbour sent £20 a gentleman called Mr M Shearing sent £250 and Sam collected £369.96 shaking a can at the Exeter Exevale Tesco. Tescos are holding nationwide events in aid of the CF Trust and Bow-Jango helped launch their campaign at Exeter.

In March Sam organised a sponsored cycle ride from Castle Drogo which raised a total of £569, a big thanks to all the Teign Valley Pedal Bashers who made this such a success despite the weather, in particular to Karen 'Two Scoops' Cornett who raised £141.50 herself.

In April Sam and Lydia ran the Tresco Marathon on the Scilly Isles and raised £1300 between them.

On May 26th Kirton H3 organised a charity run for CF3 and raised £600, Devon Full Moon Hash donated £50 too.

Judie Tzuke announced support for the ride at her performance on 22nd of June at the Queens Theatre in Barnstable. We collected over £150 from the audience.

Sylvie from St Boniface vets in Crediton donated £100.

Blaster from Glendinning donated £250.

Dartmoor Flowers made a donation of £100.

Conibears in Crediton have supplied steel for modifying the van as well as a donation

G.Mawhinney have supplied a months food supplements for Bow.

and we have also received donations from Mrs Milligan who made a collection for us, Calamaty-Jayne's friends at Queen Elizebeth, Checkers store in Cheriton Bishop, G A Nutting, Jenny & George Burr, Francis & Greg,  Zoe, Alan, Ruby & David, Mrs Wilson, Under & Poppy and Sneezy & Snow White !!
